Last day before we become parents!
Wow, here we are last day before Baby H will be in our lives! You would think we would be out doing fun and exciting things, but instead all I want to do is sleep (I got no sleep last night and probably won't get much tonight either, lol). I made little treats for the nurses, updated my Ipod, and not much else as of yet. Joe has been finishing some business things and tried cleaning out our little pool. We are going to go for a walk, still hoping I can walk this baby our before tomorrow morning. Mom is also having one last dinner tonight before the new addition :) I believe she is making one of my favorites - stuffed porkchops! YUM YUM!
People keep asking me how I am feeling today, which is a very hard question to answer. I feel excited, scared, nervous, mad, hopeful and just about every other emotion you can think of. I can't wait to meet our little (big) man but it isn't happening the way I had envisioned the last 9 months! The thought of being induced and possible c-section never crossed my mind! But, Baby H is weighing in at 9lbs so induction is necessary and doc thinks a c-section might be the only way he will make it out. My doc wanted to induce me yesterday but respected my wishes and let me go until tomorrow morning. I will be arriving at the hospital bright and early (5am!!!) to get things started. Hopefully, my body will allow me to deliver vaginally but if not, I am slowly starting to accept the idea of a possible c-section. I am obviously going to do what is in the best interest of Baby H and myself so that both of us be okay.
Even Lilly is ready for the big day! Joe just gave her bath so she won't be stinky when Baby H comes home :) We are going to take pictures tonight to get a few last shots of the belly.
Next time I write on here I will be a Mommy. :)

We have progress!
I had a doc appt yesterday and I am now 2cm dilated and probably close to 70% effaced. I was 50% last week and she said it has progressed some. So that is the good news! On the other hand, the doc is a little concerned about our (not so) little mans size. Last Friday he was weighing in at 8lbs 7oz, she is afraid he is going to be too big for me to deliver vaginally. she said that if she induced me then that I would end up having a c-section. I go back Monday morning for another u/s and go from there. If he is continuing to gain weight I may have to be induced at some point next week. I am really hoping that I will go into labor naturally to reduce my chances of having a c-section.
The though of having a c-section terrifies me! It will be so much harder to recover and I won't get to hold my little man until after recovery. Who knows how long recovery will take! Also, then I have to get an epidural. I do NOT want an epidural.
I am trying to not worry about it. We will find out everything on Monday!

Steve and Heather are getting married!
Well today is the big day! Steve and Heather are finally tieing the knot! I so badly wish I could be there, but the doc thought it wouldn't be such a great idea. :( I know Heather is going to make a beautiful bride! I wish you both the best of luck and hope today turns out to be everything you dream of! (Even though a few things will go wrong but in the big scheme of things it really doesn't matter!)
Had my last doc appt on Friday morning. Had another u/s and Baby H is now weighing in at 8lbs 6oz and measuring 39.5 weeks! YIKES, he might be a really really big boy! Doc said he wouldn't be surprised if he only weighs 7lbs though when is he born because u/s are notorious for being off. I am still not dilating but I am 50% effaced. So come on baby! I am so beyond ready to have my little boy here in my arms. I can't wait to see who he is going to look like. Maybe he will be a good mix of us both. But I bet he will look more like Joe than me, we do know that he has Joe toes! haha. And looks like he might have my nose. (Sorry little man)
I am starting to have a few braxton hicks from time to time, but they aren't anything major. Also, I believe a full moon starts on Wednesday. I am so hoping that this old wives tale will come true for us! :)

Fall projects
Loving this fall weather!
The weather is absolutely amazing lately! It has put me in the mood for decorating and baking, I will post pictures of some of my projects...but haven't started any baking yet.
We had a doc appt on Wednesday...it did not go as well as I had hoped. Everything is looking good, but I did not make any progress! :( No more dilating or effacing. I was very upset about this. But, our little pumpkin is on his own schedule and will be ready when he wants to be!
Now for the survey...
Stretch marks? Nope
Gender: Still a boy
