Sorry, I have been super busy!

It has been a long time since my last entry, but I have been super super busy!

Friday was my last day at work! I went in late because my Little was in her talent show at school, she did such a great job! Joe was able to leave work for about an hour so he could watch it too. I had lunch with everyone at work then I left! It was a weird feeling knowing I was leaving for good! But, I know it was the right decision. Saturday morning we had to deliver a mattress in Etown, the best part of the day was eating the hotdog outside of the BigLots! haha! I never would have thought I would ever eat a hotdog, pregnancy does strange things to ya! :) We went to see The Hangover Part II for Joe's bday, it was funny but near as good as the first one! We ran some errands and went out to eat. We went to the farm on Monday to cookout and fish. We took my Little with us, she had a blast. She went fishing for the first time! She caught probably 50 fish, she is a natural! Poor Joe never had a chance to fish, he had to bait our hooks and take the all the fish off the hooks. haha :) He is the best! 

Tuesdays was the first day of my new job! I am nannying for a few months over the summer, it is a pretty good deal they bring him to my house every morning. So I get to stay home all day, I don't even have to get out of my pjs if I don't want to! WOOHOO!! But it is going really well, he is such a good baby!
Anyways, on to the Wednesday survery...

Total weight gain/loss: +10 ish, but I only weigh in at the doc
Sleep: Some nights I get some, some nights I don't.  
Best moment this week:  Going to farm to spend time with family and fishing!
Movement:  Yep!
Symptoms: Tired 
Food cravings: Really anything I see.
Food aversions: I eat anything and everything :)
Gender:  BOY!!!
Labor Signs:  Nope
Belly Button in or out?  It's getting closer to being an outtie.
What I miss: Not worrying about everything I eat/drink
What I am looking forward to: To the anatomy scan on Friday

It's Wednesday!

How far along?  18w6d
Total weight gain/loss: +10 ish, but I only weigh in at the doc
Sleep: I have slept really well the last few nights! I hope this is the start of a new trend! 
Best moment this week:  Going to pick strawberries last night with Joe and some friends. It was a lot of fun seeing all the other babies and kids playing, I can't wait for Baby H to join the crowd! :)
Movement: Oh yeah! It is so neat!
Symptoms: Tired and hungry lol 
Food cravings: Well, I typically just crave something I see on tv or hear someone talk about lol. But I am really enjoying some fresh fruit!
Food aversions: I eat anything and everything :)

Baby bedding!

Wow, I can't believe this is my last week at work. I am so excited and nervous! I will start watching Gavin next Tuesday, which I am looking forward to.

We finally decided on a nursery theme this weekend! We ordered all of the bedding, which arrived today! Joe is going to come by the office in a bit to show me. I can't wait to see it in person, hopefully it looks as good as it did online. Here is a pic...

I think it is so cute, I can't wait to start putting the nursery together! We still have to decide on paint colors...I'm thinking maybe a lighter tan or the yellow thats in the quilt. Once again I just need to see it in person first then I will decide. I know we are going to put some of Joe's firetrucks around the room too.

So something else pretty special happens this week...Thursday is Joe's birthday!! He is going to be a big whopping 28! He keeps saying he is going to be so old, haha! Unfortunately Joe works on his birthday :( I might have to give him his bday gift tonight, just because I can't wait. I have a serious problem when it comes to suprises, even when the suprises aren't for me! haha.

I experienced my first hormonal freak out this morning...I have to start out by saying that we have been having a slight ant problem for a few weeks. I can't seem to get rid of the little boogers, I have traps set and clean the counters with 409 every day. So this morning I was doing my morning ant killing and cleaning, when I didn't see anymore I popped my bagel in the toaster over, got a nice bowl of fresh fruit and a cup of milk. We sat down to eat breakfast and as I am chomping away on bottom half of my bagel (the top half is my favorite so I eat it last, weird I know, but important to the story) I notice an ant on the very edge of my plate! I put my bagel down and grab the ant with my napkin and set it to the side and smush it with my fist. I opened the napkin back up and some how flinged the ant onto my TOP HALF of my bagel! Not only does it land on the bagel but it is still ALIVE, it is squirming through my cream cheese (and I used the rest of the cream cheese on this bagel). I screamed and started freaking out about these stupid little ants, I look at Joe and I guess I looked really upset because he said, "it's ok...are you going to cry?" My response was, "yes" and then I just started laughing...I had no control of my crying or laughing! It was crazy, and Joe just went with it :)

While writing this Joe came by with the bedding, I LOVE IT! It is so cute! YAY! I'll add my newest picture to the right!

So glad it is Friday!

Wow, one more week of work! I can't wait for my last day but I don't think it has completely set in yet, haha. Joe went to the store yesterday to pick up a few things, I asked him to get me some donut sticks (YUM YUM)...well when I went to grab one this morning there was a suprise next to the donut sticks. COSMIC BROWNIES!! I grabbed one for my midmorning snack...but I ate it at 8:15 this morning. I have no self control when it comes to those! But what can I say, Joe knows the way to my heart :)

Well I have been looking for bathing suits for our Lake Tahoe trip. I can't decide if I want to be brave and wear a bikini or try a tankini instead.  Here are a few I like from Old Navy (nice and cheap since I will outgrow it by the end of summer lol)

 
They have all different colors online, but of course I like the purple the best! What do yall think, bikini or tankini?  I will probably wait for another few weeks before I buy one just in case I get bigger by then!

Well I should probably get back to being productive! Have a good weekend everyone!!!

Wow, I am SO tired today. I think little man is tired too, I haven't felt him yet today. I sure hope the sun decides to pop out today, I am getting sick of these gloomy rainy days!

Naming a baby is difficult! We have had a name picked out for a few weeks now, but I LOVE another name but Joe is a no go on it, lol. So we will see, maybe we will have two names picked out and decide when we actually see his little face :)

Apparently Joe has planned our 1 year anniversary! I can't wait to see what we are doing! I am so bad at suprises though, they drive me crazy haha. I am worse than a little kid. I keep trying to guess or get him to tell me. Joe isn't good at keeping suprises either ;) so I might know before June gets here! Looking forward to our trip to Lake Tahoe too!

Kicks and flutters

Goodness I am slacking again! I officially have 8 more days of work after today! CRAZY!! :)

I took off work last Thursday and Friday, I wasn't feeling to well and tried to just take it easy. Joe was off both days as well, he worked on the business a lot though and I read and napped. It was lovely. Saturday I hung out with Mandi, Eli and Madison -  we had a lot of fun and had some not so delicious malts. haha. Sunday Joe and I took my Little to church with us and went putt putting. She had never played before, she had a lot of fun! We played some other games too. We asked if she wanted to go home or go to the grocery store with us, she actually wanted to go grocery shopping with us. Joe and her had a great time, she would stand at the end of the cart and he would push her real fast or pretend he was going to run her into everything. It was fun/cute to watch. Joe and I were so tired by the time we got home that we put a pizza in the oven for dinner and watched tv the rest of the evening. At this rate we are never going to have our stuff ready for our yard sale on the 28th! We still need to sort it and price it, ugh ugh ugh.

I have been feeling Baby H move around for a few weeks, but more like little tingles and flutters. The last few days they have been getting stronger, Saturday night I felt 2 good strong kicks with my hand and Joe felt one on Sunday. It was so neat! :) Right now they are very sparatic and don't feel one everyday. I woke up to go to the bathroom the other morning around 4, and I guess he thought it was time to start playing. He was moving all around, which of course I couldn't go back to sleep, not because the kicks are strong enough to keep me awake but that I kept trying to feel it with my hand.

I can't wait for June to get here! I am ready for some vacations! Even though I haven't decided yet if I am going to sport a bikini or not...I guess I will see how I am feeling closer to the time. But, I will have to go buy a new bathing suit regardless!

I haven't really had any major cravings, but this morning I wanted some onion rings like you don't even know! And it was only 9am! I am going to get some today, just might be when I get off work. :)
