If anyone still even checks this, sorry I have not updated this in a long time! There is way too much to really go over at this point so I will just hit some of the major topics! I am 35w 1 d now, things are chugging right along!
About 2 weeks ago I did spend some time in the L&D, luckily everything checked out good. I hadn't been feeling very well and my blood pressure dropped extremely low. My doc sent me to the hospital just to make sure everything was okay, I was hooked up to the heart monitors and had my blood pressure checked every few minutes. Also, they did 2 different kinds of ultrasounds - regular and a biophysical profile (bpp). On the bpp the baby can score up to an 8, well Baby H scored a 6 because he did not practice breathing on his own, which I was only 33 weeks and they said that can still be too early for him to try. Had to go back in the next day to repeat the u/s, this time he scored an 8! He had the hiccups which counts for breathing on his own! Way to go little man! :) The u/s also showed that he was head down.
Today we had our 35 week appt, everything is still looking good but doc isn't sure if he is still head down or not. We start going every week from now until delivery! Next week we are going to do another u/s to see if he is head down and if he starting to drop or not.
I have now had all of my baby showers, thank you to everyone!! We are so blessed with the amazing people in our lives to help celebrate with us!! I think I have started nesting...I have washed and put away all of his clothes (the closet looks so cute with all his little clothes hanging up) :) I have made room in the spare (which will be his now) bathroom for all of his towels, wash clothes and extra shampoo and soap. We are picking up his mattress tonight, so now I can finally get the crib completely put together. I can't wait to see it with his sheets and etc all put together.
We also celebrated my birthday last week! WOW, I can't believe I am already 28, time sure does go by fast. Baby H got me a really sweet card :) Joe got me my traditional bday donut! Also, he got me a wonderful card and going to get me the birthstone ring I have been wanting for a few months now. We are going to wait to until Baby H makes his arrival just to make sure we don't get the wrong birthstone. I can't wait to get it!! It was a really really good birthday! We went to moms the next day my bday dinner, which was delicious!

How far along? 31 weeks! 9 more weeks to go! WOW!
Total weight gain/loss: +28 pounds, not so happy about this :(
Sleep: I have some good nights but mostly bad...I just toss an turn
Best moment this week: Joe realizing that he can hear Baby H's heartbeat just by putting his ear on my belly
Movement: Rolls around a lot, and has moved head down
Symptoms: Hungry, tired and can't catch my breath
Food cravings: Still not really craving anything but sure do love some Tabasco Sauce

We have been so busy lately!
It has been a long time since I have update, if I tried to catch up on everything in detail I would have to write a book! I will give a little run down on some of the major events that have been going on. But, I am going to try updating more frequently now that I am not watching Gavin anymore and will have some more free time.
Few weeks ago we went to Lake Eerie with a bunch of Joe's family. It was a LONG drive there and back, but we had fun and ate lots of good food! (Too many desserts-definitely going to fail my weight check in this Wednesday) We went out on the boat one morning and did some fishing, well I watched them fish while I enjoyed the sunshine. They caught some big fish and some really tiny fish, haha I will post some pics in a separate post. We had one rainy day so we drove around in some little town, found a place for lunch and had some yummy ice cream! We enjoyed an afternoon on the beach, Joe dug me a hole in the sand so I could lay on my stomach and get some sun on my back! haha It was hilarious!
Eli had a great 2nd bday celebration! He received all kinds of toys related to Cars, he LOVES Lightening McQueen! It was a lot of fun, it was great spending time with Dad, Judy, and Kristen. Wish Pat could have been here too, but sounds like he may be moving much closer in a few months! WOOHOO! Baby H's Uncle Pat will only be about 4 hours away instead of 15!
We had a wonderful baby shower here while they were in town too. We received all kinds of cute things! Dynasty even got to spend the day with us! I was so excited to see some of my friends that I don't get to see real often like Jen and Kathleen. I miss those girls! :) This past weekend we went back to Ohio for Joe's 10 year high school reunion! Boy, he sure is getting old! haha. We didn't get home until after midnight, this pregnant lady was TIRED, but Joe had a good time visiting with old friends so it made it worth it. Then we had a baby shower there, it was nice getting to see everyone there too! We don't get to see them that often so it was really nice. We received all kinds of good stuff for Baby H, he is spoiled already! :) When Joe gets off work tomorrow we are going to start putting everything away from that shower, I can't wait! It's a lot of fun putting everything away as we get it, makes the nursery come together even more! :) After the baby shower on Sunday we went to the hospital and had another u/s, Baby H is head down and looking good. But Karen said he is chunky! UH OH!!! I still have 9 weeks, hope this doesn't mean I am going to have a 10 pound baby!
Also, we interviewed another pediatrician last week...neither one of us cared for him as much as the first one we interviewed. I believe we are going to go with the first lady, but may still interview one more. My next doc appt is Wednesday at 115, so I will definitely update again after that. I will post some pictures from Lake Eerie and the most recent pic to the right!

Survey and 3d/4d ultrasound!
How far along? 27w 1d! Oh my gosh, in about 12 weeks I am going to be holding my son in my arms! :)
Total weight gain/loss: +22 pounds, doc said that's good and my belly is measuring right on track!
Sleep: Ugh, lets not ever talk about this
Best moment this week: Having a great doc appt and having u/s done today
Movement: Oh yeah, he moves all the time!
Symptoms: Tired and occasional shortness of breath
Food cravings: Tabasco sauce! (I have never liked the stuff before)
Food aversions: I eat anything and everything :)
Gender: BOY!!!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? It pokes through my shirt, and the last few days Baby H has discovered it and likes to poke it...it makes me sick to my stomach lol, I don't like my belly button touched!
What I miss: Drinking a nice cold beer on these really hot evenings! :)
What I am looking forward to: Going to the lake for a week
Milestones: Everyday is a milestone!
Well we had a doc appt yesterday and everything is looking great! Nice strong heartbeat, lots of movement and weight is right on track. I go back in another 3 weeks then I start going every 2 for a while then EVERY week! WHOA! :) I can't believe that in 12 weeks Joe and I will be holding our son. THAT.IS.CRAZY!
Next Saturday is Eli's second bday party! I can't believe he is already going to be 2! Then it's my first baby shower, I can't wait to show everyone the progress with the nursery. It still isn't completely finished because we have to decide on some wall decals and one is going to reveal his name so that won't be put up until after we come home with him!
*As I am typing this up Baby H is pushing his butt out, it is funny to see this lump emerge out of my stomach haha*
Anyways, the 3d/4d ultrasound was so awesome this morning! I do believe he is blessed my nose, poor buddy, and my chin. But, he does have Joe's toes, lol. Baby H never sucked his thumb or fingers but he did like to suck his big toe and shove it in his eye. I will load some pictures, enjoy!

What a busy weekend!
Joe has worked so hard around the house and everything is coming together! He replaced the front brick in the sidewalk, added a step to the front porch, mowed the yard, tried fixing the invisible fence (waiting on a new part), and has started painting the living room! He is busting his butt and all I do is sit back and watch :( One thing I don't like about pregnancy is that I feel so useless. But, we want to get all of this done before the baby shower on the 7th. And we are going to be out of town for a full week before hand.
I can't wait for the family vacation, except for the really long drive! UGH. Hopefully, I won't get in everyone's way. I probably won't be able to spend too much time on the boat because the lake is really rough. So looks like I will be sitting around and reading a lot. Oh well...I guess the relaxation will be nice, unless I get really bored out of my mind.
I can't believe that Baby H will be here in about 13 weeks! Where did the time go?! My next doc appt is Wednesday adn then i will start going every 2 weeks! I am excited and nervous about this appt for some reason. There is nothing special about this appt but can't wait for it to be here. Also, Friday we are getting our 3D/4D ultrasound done! Sleep: Sometimes I get a full night...starting to get insomnia I believe :(
