Sleep: Sometimes I get a full night...starting to get insomnia I believe :(

Nursery progress...

Well we finally decided how we wanted the nursery to look and Joe has been working very hard to get it done and to look perfect! Here are some pics...

Chiropractor visit and other random events

Saturday morning I woke up with my left hip pain, but this time is was so absolutely terrible that it made me cry. The pain was all the way to my knee and making my toes numb. So, I finally decided to go to a chiropractor. Boy am I glad I did! He did a few adjustments and felt immediate relief. I go back on Tuesday to see how my hip/spine took to the adjustments and have a few more done. My hip is starting to hurt again but the doc said it could take a few times to get everything situated properly. I will continue to go once a month, research shows that regularly visiting a chiropractor through pregnancy can reduce labor time by 24% and just make it easier over all. Luckily our insurance covers the visits! I just wish I had started going when the pain initially started and maybe it wouldn't have gotten SO bad.

Mandi brought that babies over to go for a swim...well that did not go very well! Madison cried every time the water touched her, I think it was still too cold for her.  Madison looked so cute though in her little swimmer diaper and her little hat. The hat would fall down over her face though and all you could see was her chin, haha it was super cute! After Eli got all suited up in his life vest and swim trunks (which he was super cute too!) he was ready to go! When we got to the pool he was ready to get in...but a few short minutes later that came to a screeching halt!!! The vest he was wearing made him bop up and rolled him over so his face started to go under the water and scared him to death! Poor boy was terrified and wouldn't calm down. I grabbed him up and put a towel around him and got him to stop crying while Mandi was still trying to get out of the pool with Madison. (I never even made it into the pool haha) Eli had no desire to get back in he just kept telling me to go inside! This whole event took place within 5 minutes, haha.

Joe FINALLY got off work on Sunday. We went to ABF and church service. We met up with Aunt Judy, had lunch and went to Sams to get a membership and stock up on some meats and etc. We packaged all the meat up and stocked up our new deep freeze :) not very exciting but I couldn't wait to get something in there! haha Joe finished up a few projects around the house, looks like he might start painting the nursery this week!! YAY SO EXCITED!!!!! And I made my very first homemade peach pie! (first pie ever) I did not like making the crust! I think I will buy pre-made crust from here on out. Making the inside was easy peasy! It tasted pretty good, but not near as good as Judy's! Judy you will have to teach me how to make the crust sometime, I don't know what I did wrong.  Joe grilled out some chicken and white asparagus, so delicious! It was a great day with Joe, and now he is back to work :( BOO!

How did the daddy react? Umm...I think he was pretty much in shock too. Even though he was the first to say something about the double line, I just kinda stared at wasn't sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me or not.

How did you tell the grandparents? We told everyone by giving them a Pumpkin bucket (like what kids use to trick-or-treat with) with a photo album that said grandchildren (my niece was born about a month before we found out) with a picture of 4 of the 20 some pregnancy test I had taken.
 

How did your parents react? No one believe it! We had said we were going to wait at least a year after our wedding before we would try to have children...but obviously those plans changed! :)

How did his parents react? The same, except his mom really didn't believe it! haha
