WOW! It has been a crazy week! The morning sickness has been getting worse and the exhaustion is on a whole other level! But it is all worth it... :)
We have finally started telling family, it is great not having to keep this secret anymore! It is TOO big of a secret for me to keep. HAHA Last Thursday we told Mom and Jim...we bought pumpkin buckets (since due in october) and put a Grandkids photo album in it, the first picture in the album was a picture of the 4 pregnancy test I took in the first 2 days! Mom just kept looking at it and looking at it, finally Jim said, "ARE YOU PREGNANT?!" HAHA It was hilarious and awesome, they both jumped up and started hugging us. Mom was just so suprised since we have been saying since before we were married that we were going to wait at least a year or 2 before we try starting a family.
Also, that same night our Sonoline B Doppler arrived! We were skeptical because it can be very hard to hear the heartbeat at 8 weeks, especially trying to find it yourself at home. But after about 20 minutes of searching we found it!! It was the most amazing sound ever! (Joe thinks there are 2 in there, lol) The heartbeat was a strong 170-180!! We called mom and let her listen and I think she may have been crying :)
On Saturday Dad, Judy, Pat and Kristen were all here to see Baby Madison! When Joe and I finally made it home that evening, we were able to tell Dad and Judy while Pat and Kristen were out having dinner. I gave Dad the pumpkin and he took out the album and opened it up...they both just kinda looked at the pic for a minute until Dad said, "Does this mean you are pregnant?" They were both so happy and suprised as well! It was great!!! Kristen and Pat finally came back and I had a shirt on that said Due In October...Dad had to point it out to Pat..Pat said, "So, did you wear that shirt out to dinner?" haha then Kristen came over and read it and gave me a big hug :) And then we were able to find the heartbeat for everyone! :)
It was such a great weekend! Now we still have to tell Aunt Judy and Joe's family. We are going to Ohio this Saturday and hopefully Aunt Judy will be in BG again SOON! Once all the family knows then we will announce it to everyone else. So if there some of you reading this, please don't post anything on FB until we get to tell everyone in the family first! :)
